Brock Sharapata

Brock Sharapata is an experienced Chief Engineer with a strong background in managing engineering teams and overseeing day-to-day operations in the hospitality industry. Currently serving as Chief Engineer at Palmer House Hotel since April 2022, Brock previously held similar roles at Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants and Hampton Inn & Suites. With extensive experience at Hilton Worldwide as Director of Property Operations and Chief Engineer, as well as operating engineer at Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers, Brock has developed expertise in energy management, budget oversight, and project management. Brock is also well-educated in HVAC, holding certificates from Elgin Community College and the International Union Operating Engineers Local 399, along with a first-class boiler license and additional training through the Refrigeration Service Engineers Society.
