Jonathan Novak

Jonathan Novak is a dedicated music educator and freelance musician with extensive experience in teaching and performing. Currently serving as a Band/Music Teacher at Arbor Park School District 145 since August 2020, Jonathan instructs students in grades 5-8 while managing live and virtual performances. A versatile freelance musician since June 2014, Jonathan plays woodwind instruments in various settings, including orchestras and bands. Between August 2017 and July 2020, Jonathan was the Director of Bands, successfully preparing students for major concerts and music festivals. Additional roles include private lesson instruction and various teaching positions in middle and high schools. Jonathan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Illinois Wesleyan University and is pursuing a Master of Music Education at VanderCook College of Music, expected to be completed by July 2024.
