John Richardson

John Richardson is currently the SVP, Senior Deputy Chief Underwriter, Agency Lending at Arbor Realty Trust. Prior to this, they were with Citizens Bank from May 2004 to February 2007 as an Assistant Vice President.

At Citizens Bank, Richardson was responsible for soliciting and servicing a variety of commercial real estate loans from both existing and prospective customers. John was also a member of a five person team responsible for the management of a $600 million commercial real estate loan portfolio. In this role, they approved and closed 45 transactions with an aggregate loan value of over $200 million.

In addition, Richardson researched and evaluated commercial real estate loan proposals. John developed recommendations and presented loan packages to the Loan Approval Committee and actively participated in the entire loan process from negotiation of structure through legal documentation. John also completed the formal 10-week Citizens Bank Credit Analysis Training Program.

John Richardson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Theirtory from St. Lawrence University and a degree in Economics and Theirtory from Connecticut College.
