Luis Portal is a seasoned real estate risk management professional with extensive experience in managing multifamily and commercial real estate portfolios. Currently serving as Senior Risk Manager-REO at Arbor Realty Trust since 2024, responsibilities include identifying and evaluating risks associated with multifamily assets. Prior roles include Credit Risk Manager at Synovus, where oversight of commercial real estate underwriting and compliance contributed to improved portfolio performance, and Senior Real Estate Asset Manager at Wells Fargo, responsible for enhancing the financial and physical performance of properties.
