Steven Katz is the current Chief Investment Officer & EVP of Residential Financing at Arbor Realty Trust. Prior to this, they were Chief Investment Officer at Arbor Residential Mortgage from January 2008 to December 2013. From January 2004 to December 2007, Steven Katz worked as Managing Director of Credit and Whole Loan Trading at Nomura Securities. From January 2000 to December 2004, they were Director of Asset/Mortgage-Backed Securities Trading Desk at Deutsche Bank. Steven Katz began their career as a Senior Accountant at KPMG from January 1990 to December 1993. Steven then worked as Vice President at Credit Suisse First Boston from January 1998 to December 2000. In February 2018, they became Managing Director and US Head of Residential Trading and Lending at Morgan Stanley, a position they held until February 2019.
