Valerie Miller

Valerie Miller is an accomplished professional in speech-language pathology with extensive experience in various healthcare and educational settings. Currently serving as the Director of Speech-Language and Communication at Cleveland Metropolitan School District since November 2022, Valerie has previously worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist at Arbor Rehabilitation and Healthcare Services Inc. since May 2014, providing therapy and assessments for adults with diverse communication disorders. Valerie held the position of Assistive Technology and Speech-Language Pathology Manager at the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities from January 2018 to November 2022, leading a team of specialists to support individuals with developmental disabilities. Valerie's career also includes roles at The Village at Marymount, Sprenger Health Care Systems, and Alternate Solutions HomeCare. Valerie holds a Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from Cleveland State University, a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Michigan, and a Diversity and Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University.
