Gian Greenberg has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. They began their career at UCLA Health as a Staff Research Associate II, where they conducted research on hormone treatments, investigated the effects of sex hormones on metabolism, and drafted IRB protocols. They then transitioned to the University of Portland as an Adjunct Professor of Biology for a brief period. Following this, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at OHSU | Oregon Health & Science University, focusing on studying alcohol withdrawal severity and pain sensitivity in rodent models. After that, they served as an Academic Year Professor at Santa Clara University. Gian then moved into the medical writing field, starting as a Medical Writer at Arbor Scientia, before joining Ashfield, part of UDG Healthcare plc, as a Medical Writer. They later returned to Arbor Scientia, where they held the roles of Senior Medical Writer and Senior Medical Writer II. Recently, Gian Greenberg has taken on the position of Associate Medical Director at Arbor Scientia.
Gian Greenberg obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology Psychology from UCLA, where they attended from 2004 to 2008. Later, they pursued higher education and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Neuroscience from the University of California, Davis, completing their studies between 2009 and 2014.
