Simon Dean

Simon Dean is a seasoned credit management professional with extensive experience in assessing financial and non-financial credit risks for lending applications. Currently serving as a Senior Credit Manager at Arbuthnot Latham since March 2024, Simon previously held the position of Credit Partner at Metro Bank (UK) from January 2018 to March 2024. Prior to that, Simon worked as a Credit Manager at Shawbrook Bank and Royal Bank of Scotland, where responsibilities included sanctioning exposures up to £20m and developing key stakeholder relationships. Simon also led a team of Credit Operations Managers at Royal Bank of Scotland, focusing on financial information input and training new staff. Education includes studies at SEEVIC College, Essex, and Appleton School.
