Tim Eley

Tim Eley has extensive work experience in the field of clinical pharmacology. Tim recently served as the Vice President of Clinical Pharmacology at Arbutus Biopharma Corporation since October 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Executive Director and Compound Development Lead at the same company from May 2021 to October 2023. Before joining Arbutus Biopharma, Tim worked at Bristol-Myers Squibb for a significant period. At Bristol-Myers Squibb, they held various positions including Director of Clinical Pharmacology, Virology from May 2013 to June 2016 and Associate Director of Clinical Pharmacology, Virology from April 2009 to May 2013. Tim also has experience as an Assistant Professor at Nova Southeastern University from July 1999 to July 2004.

Tim Eley earned a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from the University of Georgia - College of Pharmacy in 1994. Tim then pursued further education and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Georgia in 1999.
