Thomas Daun has extensive work experience in strategy and management consulting. Thomas currently holds the position of Principal, Strategy & Growth at both Cupole and ARC Arise Consulting, starting in September 2022. Previously, they worked at Simon-Kucher & Partners from 2019 to 2022, initially as a Manager, Strategy Consultant and then as a Director, Strategy Consultant. Prior to that, Thomas was a Manager, Strategy & Management Consultant at Capgemini Invent from 2015 to 2019, where they led the Digital Maturity offering in Sweden and Finland. Thomas began their career as a Trainee in Project Management at Capgemini in 2013. Thomas also has experience as a Master Thesis student at AMRC Manufacturing Ltd and as a Project Researcher and Teaching Assistant at Lund University. Additionally, they completed a research internship at Lund University in collaboration with the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence. Before entering the consulting field, Thomas served as a Business Manager at Bunnpris A/S and held a leadership position as an Officer in the Swedish Armed Forces.
Thomas Daun attended The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University from 2007 to 2013, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2013, they also obtained two additional certifications: Capgemini Engagement Manager Foundation Level from Capgemini and ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from PEOPLECERT.
