Valentijn de Leeuw has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. From 2015 to present, they have served as the Managing Director at Kyoyu-Sha sprl. Prior to that, they worked at ARC Advisory Group as the Vice President and Director of Consulting from 2006 to 2014. Valentijn also owned their own company, PARTICEPS, from 2004 onwards. Valentijn has been a Partner at Control Chain Group since 2005. Additionally, they worked at STS associés as a Senior Consultant specializing in project management, change management, and innovation management from 2003 to 2004. Before that, they held several positions at Aspen Technology from 1989 to 2003, including Business Consulting Director EMEA. Valentijn's early career began at Delft University of Technology, where they worked as an Assistant and PhD student from 1985 to 1989.

Valentijn de Leeuw earned a Doctorate in Technical Sciences from Delft University of Technology between 1985 and 1989. Prior to that, they obtained a Masters degree in Chemistry from Utrecht State University from 1977 to 1985. In 2015, Valentijn also completed a Leadership Specialization with Emotional Intelligence at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University through Coursera. They focused their studies on Leadership, Coaching, Women Leadership, and Organizational Transformation (Appreciative Inquiry). Additionally, Valentijn has obtained various certifications in emotional intelligence, positive change, coaching, and employee wellbeing from different institutions.
