Christopher Whitmore

Christopher Whitmore is a seasoned leader in hardware engineering, currently serving as the Leader of Hardware Engineering at Arc since January 2025. Prior to this role, Christopher was with SpaceX for over six years, where notable positions included Manager of F9 & Payloads Launch Engineering, Lead Launch Engineer for the West Coast F9 team, and Falcon Vehicle Lead, achieving significant milestones such as a 200% increase in launch capability. Christopher's earlier experience includes impactful roles at Rolls-Royce, where responsibilities spanned lead manufacturing engineering to manufacturing engineering co-op roles, as well as internships at NASA Langley Research Center and Ames Laboratory. Christopher holds a Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering from Iowa State University, supplemented by studies at Boğaziçi University and Brunel University of London.
