Julia Alschuler Goodman is a seasoned public affairs professional with extensive experience in advocacy, strategic communications, and policy influencing. Currently serving as the Managing Director and previously as Vice President for Climate, Environment, and Conservation at Arc Initiatives since June 2019, Julia has played pivotal roles in shaping policy at both state and federal levels. Prior to this, Julia held the position of Deputy Director at Combined Defense Project, where coordination of federal defense rapid response efforts for green organizations was key. Experience also includes roles as Director at Bully Pulpit Interactive, Communications Director for NYS Senator Brad Hoylman, and various positions in digital communications and outreach, showcasing a consistent commitment to environmental and social issues throughout the career. Julia holds a BA in Government from Wesleyan University, focusing on comparative politics and political communications.
