John C Hoo is a seasoned technical writer with extensive experience in various engineering and military sectors. Currently employed at Arc Machines, Inc. since August 2014, John has previously held roles as an instructor at The Sage Group and served as a contractor technical writer for several companies, including Capstone Turbine Corporation and Empower RF Systems. John’s expertise spans the creation of maintenance documents for turbine systems, documentation of battery electric vehicle systems, and development of technical manuals for military unmanned aerial vehicles in compliance with S1000D and MIL-STD standards. With a background that includes writing for hydraulic systems in aerospace applications and technical training for military products, John has demonstrated a strong capability in producing accurate technical documentation and instructional materials. John obtained a BA in Industrial Education from San Diego State University and has completed graduate courses in Education at California State University, Northridge.
