Peter Dancer

Peter Dancer has comprehensive experience in quality assurance and compliance within the field of services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Currently serving as the Vice President for Quality and Compliance at Arc of Monroe County since 1990, Peter has held various positions including Manager of Emergency Preparedness, where a disaster preparedness program was developed, and Corporate Compliance Officer, where the first corporate compliance plan was established. Previous roles also include Quality Assurance Assessor, Admissions Coordinator, Assistant Director of Day Treatment, and Therapy Aide. Peter served as a Sexological Consultant at The Arc of Livingston-Wyoming from 2002 to 2007, providing important training and counseling in human sexuality. Educational achievements include a Master of Public Health and a Doctor of Philosophy in Sexology from the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development/Psychology from SUNY Empire State College.
