As Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Bibby oversees the Company’s financial and risk management activities in support of ARC’s strategic priorities. He was appointed to this role in February 2020 and has played a key role in ensuring ARC’s financial strength and continued focus on shareholder returns. Mr. Bibby has more than 20 years’ experience in finance and accounting roles within the energy industry. He joined ARC in 2014 as Vice President, Finance where he led the finance and accounting, tax, capital markets and investor relations functions. His responsibility increased with the addition of Capital Markets in 2019. Previously, he was CFO at a junior oil and gas company with international operations.
In 2020, Mr. Bibby was recognized as the Best Investor Relations Officer by IR Magazine Awards. He is a member of the Alberta Chartered Professional Accountants. He has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan.
