John E. Bisi

Co-Founder, Senior Vice President at Incyclix Bio

John E. Bisi has a diverse work experience spanning over 30 years. John E. is currently serving as the Co-Founder and Senior Vice President at Incyclix Bio since June 2020. Prior to this, they worked at G1 Therapeutics, Inc. for 11 years, holding various positions including Senior Director of Preclinical Research and Development, Director of Preclinical Research and Development, Associate Director of Drug Discovery and Development, and Senior Scientist. During their time at G1 Therapeutics, they directed the in vitro research efforts and managed the intellectual property portfolio.

Before joining G1 Therapeutics, John worked at GlaxoSmithKline for 20 years, where they held multiple roles including Investigator/Team Leader in Gene Interference, Principal Scientist, and Senior Scientist/Scientist. At GlaxoSmithKline, they were responsible for managing and coordinating the utilization of high throughput RNAi for identifying and delivering validated gene targets across various therapeutic disease areas.

John started their career as a Biological Laboratory Technician at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS). Throughout their career, they have gained expertise in novel drug discovery, intellectual property management, high throughput screening, and team leadership.

John E. Bisi attended North Carolina State University from 1983 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology.
