Jim Hunter

Jim Hunter has over 30 years of work experience in the software development industry. Jim began their career in 1987 as the Owner of Diamond Computing, where they created custom Windows desktop business software for any type of industry. In 2000, they became a Senior Software Engineer at iBASEt, where they worked in Delphi and contributed to the development of a web version of a large scale paperless manufacturing program. In 2014, Jim was the CTO and Co-Founder of Secures IT, and also a Software Engineer at SMART-reg International, where they developed software specific to the trade show and corporate event arena. In 2016, they were the Senior Vice President and Co-Founder of First Biometrics. In 2018, Jim became a Senior Full Stack Developer at UpdatePromise. Most recently, in 2021, they became a Senior Software Engineer at Mediavine.

Jim Hunter completed a Graduate Gemologist degree at the Gemological Institute of America in 1981. Jim also attended MongoDB University in 2014, studying MongoDB for Node.js Developers.
