Michael Holland has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. Michael began their career in 1996 at Infonautics Inc., where they held various product management and marketing roles, including the creation of an encyclopedia. From 2000 to 2003, they worked at DirectAdvice Inc., a venture-funded company delivering web-based financial planning platforms. There, they led product management, web design, product marketing, editorial, and usability functions. In 2003, they joined Mellon Financial Corporation as a Product Director/Manager, overseeing the integration of DirectAdvice rule-engine and financial modeling technology into Mellon's product line.
Afterward, Holland became the Director of Product Management at Oberon Media, responsible for the largest white-labeled SaaS global casual game platform. Following their role at Oberon Media, they joined SmartEquip in 2007 as the Vice President of Product. SmartEquip is a SaaS equipment information/content platform and order orchestration network serving construction equipment manufacturers, dealers, and fleet operators.
In 2021, Holland joined The Washington Post as the Vice President of Product. In this role, they were responsible for product development and management. Michael then transitioned to Arc XP in 2022, where they became the Vice President of Product. Arc XP is a state-of-the-art content and digital experience platform owned by Jeff Bezos and the SaaS division of The Washington Post, catering to news, media, and enterprise companies worldwide.

Michael Holland completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Cognitive Psychology and Business at Cornell University from 1992 to 1996. Michael then pursued further education by obtaining an MBA at Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business, specializing in International Business and Marketing, from 2002 to 2004.
