Debra Marshall, MD, FACC

Debra Marshall, MD, FACC has an extensive work experience in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry. Debra currently works as an Independent Consultant, specializing in biotech and pharmaceutical executive roles.

Prior to their current role, they were the Chief Medical Officer at ARCA biopharma, Inc. from August 2020 to July 2022. Before that, they served as the Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs at ARCA biopharma, Inc. from October 2016 to August 2020.

Debra has also worked as an Independent Consultant for Biotech, Pharma, and Investment Funds from August 2014 to October 2016.

Their previous experience includes positions at Amgen as the Executive Medical Director from May 2013 to July 2014, at Genentech as the Senior Medical Director from January 2012 to April 2013, and at Eli Lilly and Company as the Senior Medical Director/Senior Medical Advisor/Medical Advisor from 2006 to 2011.

Debra began their career as the Associate Medical Director of the Integrative Cardiac Health Project at the Henry M Jackson Foundation from 2002 to 2006, and as an Associate Director at Novartis from 2000 to 2002.

Debra Marshall, MD, FACC completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry at UCLA. Debra then pursued their medical education at the University of California, Los Angeles - School of Medicine, where they obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
