Rich Manalang

Rich Manalang has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several years. Rich'smost recent role is as a Co-Founder and CTO at Arcade Software, a position they have held since June 2021. Prior to that, they were a Small Business Owner at Booshie Creations starting in January 2021.

In 2021, they also worked at MURAL as a Principal Software Engineer from February to May. Before that, they held two roles at LaunchDarkly, first as a Principal Engineer from January to February and then as a Principal Developer Advocate from September 2019 to January 2021.

From 2017 to 2019, Rich worked at Trello as a Principal Engineer. Prior to that, they had a long tenure at Atlassian starting in 2011 where they held multiple roles including Partner Engineering Team Lead, Architect, and Developer Advocate.

Rich's early career includes positions at Oracle AppsLab, where they had various roles such as Director of Product Strategy, Director of Technology Applications Consulting, Principal Sales Engineer, IT Manager, Employee Productivity Systems, Technical Lead/Application Developer, and Professional Services Consultant. Rich also created and led the Monkeygrease Open Source Project from 2005 to 2008.

In 1995, Rich worked as a Systems Consultant at Hewitt Associates where they designed and implemented Client Profitability and Growth reporting software.

Rich Manalang attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1991 to 1995. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics.
