Arcade Strange

Welcome to Arcade Strange - the home of gamified drinks-pouring technology Once upon a time our founder, Seth Jackson, was sitting with a roboticist and a neuroscientist, discussing the future of creative technology. As the beer flowed and the magic that is Radical Collaboration began to gather momentum, it was decided that they should try to create the world’s first mind-controlled beer-pouring robot. That robot was built out of salvaged metal rods and some hastily written code. That robot was Homer V1.1. We decided the time had come to give this invention a home. Those who engaged with the robot adored it, clients were interested in hiring it for conferences, events and launches. We realised we were on to something and we pulled together a team. In 2023 we launched the brand Arcade Strange, a modular, fully gamified beer tap. This new robot has the power to deliver not just mind control, but a whole arcade’s worth of drinks-pouring gamification. Current games make use of EEG, AR, and Computer Vision, but the possibilities are (almost) limitless.
