Jason Vandenbogaard

Jason Vandenbogaard, CPA, CMA has over 15 years of work experience in finance and leadership roles. Jason currently serves as the Portfolio CFO at Arcadea Group since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Volaris Group from 2018 to 2022 as the VP Finance, where they supported businesses in developing strategies and implementing operational best practices.

From 2014 to 2018, Jason was the Director of Finance at TripSpark Technologies, where they led the finance, accounting, M&A, and IT teams and played a crucial role in buy-side M&A transactions. Jason also managed the quarterly strategic planning and budgeting process and provided financial insight as a trusted adviser to the leadership team.

Before their role at TripSpark, Jason worked as a Senior Financial Analyst at Target in 2013. Jason started their career at Volaris Group in 2009 as a Financial Analyst and played a key role in implementing a professional services automation program and managing the strategic planning process.

Prior to entering the finance field, Jason gained experience as a Technical Coordinator at RWDI, where they analyzed the impacts of atmospheric loading on various structures. Jason also worked as a Consultant at Instructional Technology Resource Center (ITRC), supporting faculty in integrating technology into their courses.

Jason Vandenbogaard, CPA, CMA has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Accounting from Wilfrid Laurier University. Jason also holds a B.E.Sc. degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from Western University. In 2014, Jason obtained the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) certification from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario). Jason'sadditional certification includes the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) from the Certified Management Accountants of Ontario.
