Shaun Teo

Shaun Teo, CPA has a diverse work experience spanning over different industries and roles. Starting from 2023, Shaun is currently employed at Arcadea Group as the Director of Finance. Prior to this, from 2021 to 2023, they worked at Beanfield Metroconnect as both the Senior Manager of FP&A and Senior Financial Analyst of FP&A. From 2019 to 2021, Shaun was a Senior Financial Analyst at One Toronto Gaming. In 2018, they worked as a Corporate Reporting Analyst at Imperial Oil. Before that, Shaun spent two years at EY, first as a Senior Accountant (2017-2018) and then as a Staff Accountant (2015-2017). Shaun also held positions at Students Offering Support (SOS) as the VP of Finance (2014-2015), Sauder School of Business at UBC as the Facilities Student Assistant and Accounts Payable Clerk (2012-2015), Vancouver Board of Trade as a Mentee in the Leaders of Tomorrow Program (2014-2015), Best Buy as a Connected Solutions Specialist (2013), and Singapore Armed Forces as an Administrative Support Assistant (2009-2011).

Shaun Teo, CPA, obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting from The University of British Columbia in 2015. Shaun then pursued further education and completed the Chartered Professional Accountant program offered by Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) in 2018. Prior to their accounting studies, they also obtained a Diploma in Tourism and Resort Management from Singapore Polytechnic from 2006 to 2009.
