Adela C.

Adela C. has extensive work experience in human resources and operations management. Adela currently holds the position of Chief Human Resources Officer at Arcadia Family of Companies since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at The Queen's Health System as the Director of Operations and Manager of Human Resources and Employee Health. At Kamehameha Schools, they served as a Senior Human Resources Consultant, and at Hawaii Pacific Health, they were an Employee Relations Manager. Adela also worked at Sodexo as a Senior Area General Manager, overseeing various departments and employees.

Adela C. holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Human Resources Management from Hawaii Pacific University, which they obtained from 1992 to 1994. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Management and Marketing at the same university, from 1988 to 1992. Adela also has additional certifications in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace, as well as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) Certification. Adela has obtained these certifications from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education and the HR Certification Institute (HRCI), respectively. Additionally, Adela has achieved certification as an Achieve Global Trainer, and they have completed training as an Employment Learning Innovations (ELI) Trainer.
