Harper Wood

Harper Wood is a scientist currently working at Arcadia Science. Prior to this position, Wood gained experience as an excavator at the Athenian Agora during a field school program at the American School of Classical Studies at Athens. Wood also worked as a writer at UX Content Collective and as an undergraduate researcher at Oakley Evolution Lab, focusing on research into divergent c-luciferase proteins in marine ostracods. Additionally, Wood was a chatbot writer at CommunityConnect Labs, creating content for the text-based 2020 Census HelpDesk. Wood holds a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry-Molecular Biology from UC Santa Barbara.
