Marc Walsh McKenna, M.D. began his service on the Board of Trustees in 2014. He is currently the Director of the Family Practice Residency Program at TowerHealth (formerly Chestnut Hill Hospital) in charge of an educational program of 18 residents and six faculty members in addition to running a practice with more than 25, 000 visits per year where he is responsible for budget, vision, accreditation, affiliation and quality control.
Marc also serves as a student health physician and consultant for Arcadia University and La Salle University, the Medical Director of Springfield Township Schools, and the Primary Care Sports Medicine Physician at La Salle University.
He is the author of several editorials, reviews, and chapters and has served as a board member for Circle Lodge, a group home in Norristown, PA, as well as Somos Amigos, an organization involved with medical mission trips to the Dominican Republic. Marc holds memberships in numerous professional organizations including the Association of Family Practice Residency Directors, the American College of Sports Medicine, the Pennsylvania Academy of Family Physicians, the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine, the American Academy of Family Physicians, and the American Medical Association.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Colgate University and his Doctorate in Medicine from Georgetown School of Medicine.
