Matt Frades has a wide range of work experience in various roles and industries. Matt started their career as an Independent Consultant, serving as a Principal Investigator. Matt then worked as a Research Scientist for the New Hampshire Climate Change Policy Task Force and Carbon Solutions New England. Matt also gained experience in policy and interned at The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy.
Matt later joined the U.S. Department of Energy and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as a Policy Consultant before transitioning to Garten Rothkopf, where they served as a Senior Associate.
Matt then moved on to the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions (C2ES), initially working as a Transportation Fellow and later as a Finance Fellow.
Matt further expanded their expertise in the energy sector by joining Opower as a Quantitative Analyst and later as a Senior Quantitative Analyst.
Matt's career continued to progress as they joined Oracle Utilities, initially as a Principal Analyst, then as a Senior Manager in Analytics, and finally as the Director of Analytics and Data Science Product Management.
Currently, they hold the position of Director of Community Solar Analytics at Arcadia, utilizing their skills and experience in the renewable energy industry.
Matt Frades earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Geology from the University of New Hampshire, College of Engineering and Physical Sciences in 2005. Matt then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Hydrology from the same university, graduating in 2008. In 2009, Matt attended Princeton University, School of Public and International Affairs, where they obtained a Master in Public Affairs (M.P.A.) with a focus on Science, Technology, and Environmental Policy in 2011.
