Dennis Sun is a scientist at Arcadia Science, specializing in product leadership for company creation tools and cross-species bioinformatic analyses. Since July 2022, Dennis has led software development initiatives, including the creation of ProteinCartography, a pipeline designed for interactive mapping of protein structural space. Previous experience includes a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship at UC Berkeley, where research focused on the genetic and developmental basis of body plan evolution in crustaceans. At Harvard University, Dennis conducted research on brain regeneration mechanisms in axolotls and also gained experience at Kyoto University in directed differentiation methods for tissue generation. Dennis holds a PhD in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Developmental and Regenerative Biology from Harvard University.
