Douglas Au

Douglas Au is an experienced quantity surveyor with a strong background in managing and advising on significant construction projects. Currently serving as the MDP Deputy Commercial Lead and Senior Cost Manager at Arcadis since September 2021, Douglas has previously held roles at Sanfield (Management) Limited, Rider Levett Bucknall, and WT Partnership (Asia). Expertise includes budget control, cash flow forecasting, estimation, cost planning, and feasibility studies, with a proven track record in both pre and post-contract quantity surveying services. Douglas has contributed to iconic developments such as the Xiqu Centre and Kai Tak Sports Park, and has experience advising on BIM adoption in construction. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Integrated Project Delivery from The University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management from RMIT University.
