Jeff Henry

Jeff Henry is an experienced urban planner currently serving at Arcadis since December 2022. Prior to this role, Jeff operated as a community planning consultant through Jeff Henry Consulting from December 2018 to December 2022, focusing on research and strategy development for municipalities, non-profits, and community stakeholders. Jeff has a significant history in public service as a Councillor for the City of Waterloo from December 2010 to November 2022, where efforts included initiating a new secondary plan for a neighbourhood, implementing a rental housing licensing program, and co-leading community workshops on intensification and mental health. Jeff holds a Master’s Degree in Planning and has a diverse background in academia, non-profit leadership, and student advocacy, including pivotal roles with the University of Waterloo and various community organizations.
