Kostas Georgiou

Kostas Georgiou is a seasoned software engineer and architect with extensive experience in software development and systems integration, particularly in the fields of critical infrastructure protection and traffic management. As a co-founder of Missionware, Kostas has significantly contributed to the development of innovative software solutions like Cognibase and Is2Aware. In the role of Principal Software Engineer and Team Leader at Arcadis, leadership of an 8-person team entails overseeing the architecture and implementation of tolling and highway traffic management systems in Greece. Previous roles at IBI Group and ATESE Group involved modernization and support of traffic systems and critical infrastructure projects, respectively. Kostas began his career as a software engineer at the Computer Technology Institute, where leadership in project development was demonstrated. Kostas holds a Master of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering and Informatics from the University of Patras.
