Lyall Archer

Lyall Archer currently serves as the Associate Technical Director and UK Heat Networks Lead at Arcadis, a position held since October 2022, focusing on the growth and development of district heating and energy transition consultancy services. Previous experience includes roles as a Process Engineer at SSE plc, Lead Author for a publication in the Journal of Molecular Liquids, Technology Development Engineer at Aggreko, Hydro Operations Engineer at Innogy Renewables UK Ltd, and a Product Analysis Intern at Johnson & Johnson. Archer holds an MEng in Chemical and Process Engineering from the University of Strathclyde and a master's thesis from the Jerzy Haber Institute of Catalysis and Surface Chemistry. Additionally, Archer has a background in supporting elite rugby athletes during time with Sport Scotland Institute of Sport.
