Matthias A. Olt

Matthias A. Olt is an accomplished architect with extensive experience in studio management, design leadership, and sustainable architecture. Currently serving as Principal and Studio Design Lead at Arcadis since October 2022, Matthias has made significant contributions to notable projects, including the Urban Visions Commercial Office Tower and the Alaska Airlines Master Plan. With a strong academic background, having earned a Master in Architecture from the University of Applied Sciences Frankfurt am Main, Germany, Matthias has held various key roles at prestigious firms such as B+H Architects, DLR Group, and NBBJ Design, focusing on high-profile developments globally. Noteworthy achievements include leading sustainable design initiatives at CallisonRTKL and receiving an Honorable Mention for the Seattle Mass Timber Tower in the AIA Seattle Honor Awards. Additionally, Matthias has engaged in academia as an architecture critic and educator at Washington State University since January 2016.
