Michael Hemmerich

Michael Hemmerich is a seasoned Senior Transportation Engineer currently at Arcadis since June 2022, following a distinguished career at Burgess & Niple from May 1976 to July 2021. Throughout this tenure, Michael held several key positions including Associate and Senior Roadway Engineer, Senior Project Manager, and Director of the Telecommunications Services Section. In the role of Senior Roadway Engineer, Michael focused on design and plan development quality assurance and control and contributed to over 300 transportation projects encompassing a wide range of transportation infrastructures. As Director, Michael managed the telecommunications section overseeing substantial projects involving extensive design and rights-of-way services. Michael's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Hydrology & Hydraulics and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, both from The Ohio State University.
