Muhammad Farooq

Principal Engineer

Muhammad Farooq is a seasoned civil engineer with extensive experience in highway and roadway design, holding positions in prominent engineering firms. Farooq served as a Senior Civil Engineer and Design Lead at AECOM, where responsibilities included managing design teams and contributing to the Easing Sydney's Congestion Program. Previously, at Parsons Corporation, Farooq worked as a Junior Highway Engineer on large-scale infrastructure projects in Saadiyat Island, UAE, and progressed to Highway Design Engineer, focusing on interchanges and grade-separation designs. After his tenure at AECOM, Farooq took on roles at WSP in Australia, first as an Associate Civil Engineer and then as Principal Civil Engineer, leading significant upgrades on the Eastern Freeway. Currently, Farooq is a Principal Engineer at Arcadis. Farooq holds a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila, obtained in 2007.
