Mario Alessandro Barbara

Mario Alessandro Barbara is a skilled computer scientist with a focus on cryptography, specifically on cryptocurrencies and secure computation. As a PhD graduate student at Technische Universität Graz from January 2020 to January 2022, research centered on zero-knowledge proofs and their application in real-world blockchain scenarios. Prior experience includes an internship at E-Group ICT Software, where Mario conducted research on zero-knowledge proof systems, and participation in an entrepreneurial workshop at EIT Digital that integrated cryptographic solutions. Mario holds multiple degrees, including a MSC in Computer Science (Cryptography) from Eötvös Loránd University and a MSC in Computer Science (Cybersecurity) from the University of Twente, complemented by a BSC in Computer Science from Università degli Studi di Verona.
