Gaurav Raut

Gaurav Raut is a Robotics Software Engineer at ArcBest Technologies, with experience in developing state machine-based perception pipelines, autonomous barcode detection systems, and LiDAR-Camera fusion for automotive freight stacking. In previous roles, Gaurav implemented pallet detection networks and established an Azure-based MLDC pipeline, as well as created a CUDA accelerated point cloud filtering pipeline. Gaurav's early career included a technology internship at Kalyani Studio, where a research project led to a patent for an analog IR sensor system. Gaurav holds a Master of Engineering in Robotics from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
