Michael Marcum

Michael Marcum has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Michael started their career as a Summer intern at Associated Electric Cooperative in 1989. After that, they served as a Pershing Electronics Material Specialist in the US Army from 1983 to 1986. Following their military service, Michael worked as a Programmer and later as a Lead Systems Analyst at Data-Tronics Corp. from 1990 to 2002.

In 2002, they joined ArcBest Technologies, where they held multiple roles throughout their tenure. Michael began as a Manager, IS, overseeing a department of 17 people and managing various projects. In 2012, Michael was promoted to the role of Director, IS, where they were responsible for Information Systems supporting multiple departments and a customer base of over 500 people. Recently, in 2022, they assumed the position of Director, Technology Research and Development. In this role, they focus on driving innovation and technological advancements within the company. Overall, Michael's experience showcases their extensive knowledge and expertise in technology and leadership roles.

Michael Marcum attended Missouri State University from 1986 to 1989 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with minors in Physics and Mathematics.
