Scott James

Scott James has extensive experience in IT management and aviation. As the IT Technical Services Manager for ArcBest Technologies since June 1991, Scott oversees IBM DB2 and Microsoft SQL Server systems, focusing on operational and data warehouse systems, performance tuning, and data governance. Since January 1992, Scott has owned Sierra Juliet Aviation, providing flight services and instruction while amassing over 1,300 hours as a pilot with a Commercial Pilot License. Additionally, Scott has served as President of the Fort Smith Flying Club, managing two general aviation aircraft, and held leadership roles in the Civil Air Patrol, where responsibilities included directing emergency services and coordinating search and rescue exercises. Scott holds a BS in Computer Science from Arkansas Tech University, earned between 1987 and 1991.
