Ansgar Conrad

Ansgar Conrad is an accomplished medical affairs professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across several biopharmaceutical organizations. Currently serving as Vice President of Medical Affairs at Arcellx since August 2025, Ansgar previously held the position of Vice President, Medical Affairs & Patient Advocacy at Prothena Corporation from April 2021 to August 2025. Prior to that, Ansgar was Executive Director of Medical Affairs at CSL Vifor from May 2015 to April 2021 and held the position of Director, Medical Affairs at Actelion (now Janssen Pulmonary Hypertension) from February 2007 to May 2015. Ansgar began a career in research at Stanford University from April 2003 to February 2007. Ansgar holds a Dr. rer. nat. degree, with a doctoral dissertation conducted at Stanford Medicine.
