Sohail Merchant possesses extensive experience in equipment maintenance and production optimization, with current roles at ArcelorMittal Dofasco since February 2011 as SAP - WCM Lead and ARMP SME, and as an Asset Maintenance Coach specializing in Tin-Chrome Plate and Cold Rolled Products. Previously held positions include Senior Specialist in Equipment Reliability and Production Engineer at Dow Chemical Canada ULC., where responsibilities focused on production optimization and variance analysis. Earlier experience includes Workshop Manager at Gul Ahmed Textile Mills Limited, overseeing product development and repair activities, and Deputy Manager Maintenance at Baluchistan Wheels Ltd., responsible for maintenance program development and workforce management. Sohail Merchant holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology, along with a Secondary School Certificate in Science from Sultan Muhammad Shah Aga Khan School.
