Vincent Popovich

Vincent Popovich is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in process and quality engineering within the steel industry, currently serving as the Sr. Process Engineering Coordinator at ArcelorMittal Dofasco since August 2020. Vincent has led cross-functional teams to enhance quality, throughput, and safety in high-volume galvanizing operations, while also managing energy consumption targets. Prior to this role, Vincent held the position of Sr. Product Quality Engineering Coordinator, employing Root Cause Analysis to address quality issues and maintain a low company claims rate. Vincent's earlier experiences include a research and development internship focused on metallurgical defect analysis, a teaching assistant role at McMaster University, project coordination with Claybar Contracting, and instructing youth in engineering activities through the Learning Enrichment Advancement Program.
