Graeme Weeks has extensive work experience in the mining and metals sector. Graeme has served as the Chief Operating Officer at ArcelorMittal Mines et Infrastructure Canada since 2023. Prior to this, Graeme worked at Rio Tinto, where they held the position of Chief Advisor - Rio Tinto Energy Developments from 2022 to 2023. Before that, at Rio Tinto, they led the Group Assurance restructure and served as the Chief Advisor - Growth & Innovation from 2017 to 2021. Graeme was also a Founding Partner & Investment Professional at Greenstone Capital LLP from 2013 to 2017. Additionally, they worked at GlencoreXstrata as the Group Manager Operations - Iron Ore Division from 2011 to 2013 and at Xstrata Coal in various roles, including General Manager, from 2005 to 2011. Earlier in their career, Graeme worked at Downer as Mine Manager and Manager Technical Services, RungePincockMinarco as a Senior Consultant, and BHP Billiton in mining engineering roles.

Graeme Weeks received a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from the University of Wollongong in 1995. In 2002, they obtained a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia. In 2006, they completed the Company Directors Course and received the Company Directors Course Award from the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Additionally, in 2003, they obtained the NSW Mine Managers Certificate of Competency from the NSW Coal Mining Qualifications Board, and in 2009, they received the Site Senior Executive Certificate of Competency from the Queensland Department of Mines and Energy.
