Soumitra Patnaik

Soumitra Patnaik is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in corporate communications across various industries. Currently serving as Head of Corporate Communications at ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India since January 2022, Soumitra previously held key positions including Head of Corporate Communications at Tata Steel from November 2012 to January 2022 and Dy General Manager of Corporate Communications at Indo Rama Synthetics (I) Ltd. from November 2008 to October 2012. Additional roles in communications were with Jindal Steel and Power, Escorts Limited, Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited, and SQL Star International, where Soumitra was instrumental in shaping public perception, driving PR, and developing communication strategies.
