Abhijit Sanyal

Abhijit Sanyal is an experienced executive in the steel industry, currently serving as CMO for ArcelorMittal Europe - Flat Products, overseeing operations in South East Europe since February 2014. Prior roles at ArcelorMittal include Head of Heavy Plates for the Business Division East and Head of Marketing & Strategy for the Business Division South-East. Sanyal began a career in maritime logistics as Head of Shipping & Logistics at ArcelorMittal Galati, Romania, and has a robust background in maritime operations, serving as Captain and Chief Officer on various crude oil and product tankers. Sanyal holds an M.B.A. in Finance & Operations Management from the Indian School of Business and has degrees in Nautical Sciences from LBS College and the University of Mumbai.
