Alper Yasar

Alper Yasar is an experienced maritime professional with a strong background in chartering and vessel operations. Currently serving as the Head of Chartering at ArcelorMittal since June 2021, Alper has previously held key positions such as Chartering Manager at Asia Maritime Pacific and at Mitsui O.S.K. Bulk Shipping (Europe) Ltd. London. With a career spanning over two decades, Alper has also worked as a Senior Chartering Manager at MOL Chile Ltda. and managed operations for Grimaldi Group. Alper's academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Shipping Trade and Finance from Cass Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Shipping from Solent University.
