Atish Kumar Hatui

Atish Kumar Hatui is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in quality management, product development, and supply chain optimization, currently serving as Director of Quality, Product, Supply Chain & Finishing activities at ArcelorMittal since May 2009. Key achievements include aligning quality management with decarbonization initiatives, overseeing product development for the Hot Rolled Breakthrough Research project, and leading teams in the creation of high-value steels for automotive and industrial applications. Atish has held various positions within ArcelorMittal, progressing from New Products Development & Quality Improvement Engineer to Director. Prior to this, Atish worked as a Welding Engineer & Metallurgist at Larsen & Toubro Limited and completed a summer internship at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre. Educational qualifications include a dual Bachelor of Technology and Master of Technology in Metallurgy & Materials Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
