Frédéric Darthenay

Frédéric Darthenay is an accomplished internal audit professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as Internal Audit Supervisor at ArcelorMittal since March 2022, Frédéric previously held the position of Head of Internal Audit at Neptune Energy from February 2018 to March 2022, overseeing audit activities across various subsidiaries, including those in Norway, the Netherlands, the UK, and Germany. Prior to Neptune Energy, Frédéric was Head of Internal Audit at ENGIE E&P International from May 2015 to February 2018, where responsibilities included developing a risk-based audit plan for the international business unit. Frédéric's earlier roles encompass senior management positions in contractual negotiations at GDF SUEZ and technical oversight in gas storage operations at STORENGY. With a background rooted in economics, Frédéric graduated from École Polytechnique and Mines Paris - PSL.
