Prof Dr Arndt Rolfs

Prof Dr Arndt Rolfs has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Prof Dr Arndt is currently working as the Managing Director at Rare Disease Consulting RCV, where they develop strategies and operating models for companies in the field of rare diseases. Prior to this, they founded and served as the CEO of Arcensus Diagnostics, a start-up focused on diagnostics. Prof Dr Arndt has also held the position of Professor for Neurology at the University of Rostock since 1998. In addition, they have served as an Honorary Professor at the Institute of Child Health/Children's Hospital Lahore, an International Adjunct Professor of Neurology at Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University (Islamabad) in Pakistan, and a Doctor honoris causa at the Academic Senate of Medical University Tirana. Prof Dr Arndt has a strong background in rare diseases and has made significant contributions in the field as the Founder and CEO of CENTOGENE, a global rare disease company.

Prof Dr Arndt Rolfs completed their education in Humanmedizin at the University of Mainz and the University of Vienna from 1978 to 1985. Prof Dr Arndt received a Staatsexamen degree during this period.
